Did you know people who live in “Blue Zones” live significantly longer and healthier lives? In 2004, a National Geographic explorer named Dan Buettner set out to answer a deceptively simple question: where do people live the longest — and why? What he found changed how scientists and doctors think about aging, disease, and what it means to grow old well.

Dan identified five geographical areas on the planet that have the highest concentrations of people living to 100 years old. He also found that people living in these communities did not exhibit stronger genetics than the rest of us, but shared certain longevity habits: belonging to a close-knit community, having a purpose, moving their bodies naturally, and engaging in routines that shed stress. These aren't just the secrets of faraway villages – they are the foundation of everything we do at Boss Adult Center.
